Tin Ceiling Redesign
10th September, 2008I have been working on redesigning landing pages within my company’s website. Using a design system, I have implemented a new layout with absolute positioning, utilizing the power of css layout. Within that application, I have also implemented a javascript hide / unhide function which allows the user to stay on the page and capable of viewing certain variables that enhance their experience. Before, the user would have the option of clicking a link that takes them to another page, ultimately confusing them and getting somewhat lost. Regardless of the internal links within a page, I have found that the user will stay within the site if the information they are seeking is stationary on one page, rather than leading them around to multiple pages.
To view an example of the above, please view the SnapLock Tin Ceiling landing page.
